The Teaser…
Everyone was stacking Pringles.
Everyone except Alexa.
She took to the Pringles Super Bowl ad to let us know how she felt about it.
During the Super Bowl, our “Sad Device” live-tweeted depressing, unamused commentary.
After the game, fans could turn their own smart devices into a “Sad Device” by downloading an Amazon Skill we created.
Jimmy Fallon laughed.
And Conan made a :60 cut for us.
No matter where you are, or what you’re doing, when you hear that Taco Bell “BONG”, you gotta get some tacos.
For some, fall is more than a season.
And September 1st marks their time to shine.
Dunkin’ champions (and fuels) them as it brings everyone’s fall favorites back to the menu.
With Taco Bell’s “Taco Lover’s Pass” you get 30 days of tacos.
So instead of a “day in the life” video we made a “30 days in the life” one.
And got Michel Gondry to direct it.
Then a bunch of creators made their own.
Common Sense Quotes is a program we created for high school students across America to leverage their senior yearbook quote as a platform to voice their opinions on common sense gun reform.
Students can mail their yearbooks to the White House and get them into the hands of policy makers as a reminder of where the next generation of voters stands.
Graduating seniors can use our custom quote generator at donateyourquote.com to create a yearbook quote, or write their own.
Pringles needed a new tone of voice, so we created the persona of the “Unnecessary Genius.”
Then brought it to life through an unnecessarily genius social campaign.
We launch with our debut invention, the Hunger Hammer, a gaming headset that feeds you Pringles so you can
1. focus on your game 2. keep your controller clean and 3. never go hungry again while gaming.
Unnecessary? Yes.
Genius? Also yes.
We debuted the Hunger Hammer with gaming influencer @Criken on his Live Stream on Twitch.
Watch it here.
When Popeye’s chicken sandwiches sold out, Pringles came to the rescue with the “Backup Chicken Sandwich.”
Unnecessary? Yes.
Genius? Also yes.
When Pringles accidentally made a print error on hundreds of Pringles cans, we decided it wasn’t actually an error at all.
Unnecessary? Yes.
Genius? Also yes.
And finally, we made sure Pringles fans could become Unnecessary Geniuses themselves with this series of DIY Pringles can hacks.
Unnecessary? Yes.
Genius? Also yes.
Pringles came out with Pringles Wavy, so we used a classic mom/child setup to explain the difference from regular Pringles in the simplest way possible.
This social play for TUMS won X’s #Interception Award for driving the largest brand conversation for a brand without a Super Bowl spot.
And we officially coined the 🔵 as the TUMS emoji.
Then we took advantage of the opportunity to launch TUMS social.
Better late than never!
