creative director art
I was born on the west coast, raised in the south, and washed up on the shores of Connecticut. I studied studio art in Florence, Italy and UNC-Chapel Hill, art direction at VCU Brandcenter, and late nights at Grey New York. I have a seeing-eye-dog-reject named Wilbur and a funny daughter named Brooks. Pre-agency life, I designed a boutique hotel and restaurant in Miami, along with multiple restaurants in Raleigh/Durham with Giorgios Hospitality Group. This is where I learned the power of caring FOR your guests, not just ABOUT them. Which is how I think of audience in advertising: guests. It’s how I can tell a 5-star idea from a 3-star one. And not unlike my hotel, that has since been sold to the Hilton Curio Collection, I’m here to make 5-star work.
